İlksen Başarır

Following her graduation from Saint-Benoit French High School, she continued her study in Department of Journalism in Faculty of Communication in Marmara University. She started working as an assistant director in 2000 in advertisements and films. Her filmography includes Love in Another Language, Merry-Go-Round, Erkek Tarafı Testosteron, and Bir Varmış Bir Yokmuş.

Nazan Kesal

Attended Dokuz Eylül University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Worked as an actor and director in Diyarbakır State Theatre between 1996-2004, and in Bursa State Theatre between 2004-2014. She also worked with various theatre companies in addition to starring in various films and TV series. She got her Master’s degree in 2013 in Beykent University’s Department of Cinema and TV.

She was awarded Best Supporting Actress in Antalya International Film Festival for her role in Climates. Also, she has won Best Actress awards for her role in Hair, in International Istanbul Film Festival and in SIYAD Turkish Cinema Awards; Circle, in Ankara International Film Festival; Dust Cloth, in International Nurnberg Film Festival.

Mehmet Açar

Born in 1963. Following Galatasaray High School, he graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Department of Western Languages and Literature. Got his Master’s degree from Marmara University’s Graduate School of Fine Arts in Department of Cinema and TV. He has been working as a movie critic since 1989. Worked as an editor-in-chief of cinema magazine Sinema for 12 years. He has been the primary movie critic of Haberturk newspaper since 2009.
