Virtual Reality: The Lives of Others

Realized first time in 2017, the Virtual Reality (VR) program will host three projects this year which will allow you to find yourself in another reality when you wear the VR headset. 

The first project is the Unrest VR which won The Alternate Realities VR Award at Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2017. You can witness the bedridden days of Jennifer Brea who suffers from ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) between 17-21 October at Contemporary Arts Center. Please note that this VR is not suitable for age under 13, the pregnants and people who use cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, hearing aids or other implanted medical device.

The Party VR which you can attend a birthday day as Layla, a 16-year-old with autism will be experienced between 8-10 October at SineBu, 12-14 October at Taşbaşı Cultural Center, 17-19 October at Goethe-Institut Ankara and 17-21 October at Contemporary Arts Center. 

The story of Maxim Kiselev, the only professional figure ice skater on a wheelchair in the world was transferred to VR by director Georgy Molodtsov. VRability: Maxim Kiselev will be experienced between 8-10 October at SineBu, 12-14 October at Taşbaşı Cultural Center, 17-19 October at Goethe-Institut Ankara and 17-21 October at Contemporary Arts Center.
