“The film is told from a personal point of view.”

Şencan Güleryüz, actor of The Announcement which is included in the Competition Without Barriers program and Sinan Yusufoğlu, the executive producer of the same film answered the questions of the audience after the screening of the film in Ankara. 

During the session, the guests were asked what they think on a previous statement of the director Mahmut Fazıl Coşkun: “This is not a coup film”. Sinan Yusufoğlu, executive producer of the film, said the film is told from a personal point of view and that it is about human affairs and modernism rather than the coup.  Actor Şencan Güleryüz stated that the film does not have a political aspect and it was a story produced by the director Mahmut Fazıl Coşkun and screenwriter Ercan Kesal.
