We are in an extraordinary period of time. For months, we live with a pandemic that forces many people all over the world to change their daily routine. The way we meet our needs for work, entertainment, socializing, shopping and many other things has changed. This is a must at the moment. So, will everything return to "normal" when the danger of the pandemic disappears? Should everything get back to 'normal'? Normal is defined as "the absence of excess, lack and excessiveness, average situation" in the dictionary. Aren't there any excesses and shortcomings in what we consider normal? In Seeking for Normal, we invite you to take a closer look at those who seem ordinary to us and cannot be otherwise.
Seeking for Normal consists of five sections. Old Normal: Body, Old Normal: Animal, Old Normal: City, Old Normal: Urban Space and Old Normal: Virtual Self. In a total of 23 films in these five sections, we will scrutinize what we consider normal and search for the new normal together.
The festival will be held between 12-18 October online and can be followed all over Turkey.
