    Banu Sıvacı

    Born in 1987 in Adana. After graduating from Çukurova University, Department of Painting, she worked as an assistant director in TV series, commercials and movies. The first feature film she directed, The Pigeon had its world premiere in the Generation section of the 68th Berlin Film Festival and was nominated for the GWFF Best First Feature Award. Pigeon won five awards, including Best Film and Best Screenplay, at the 33rd Valencia Film Festival; Best Director at the 22nd Sofia Film Festival, and Best Youth Feature Film at the 2018 APSA Awards.

    Emine Yıldırım

    After graduating from METU's Department of Business Administration, she completed her graduate studies at Bilgi University, in the Department of Film and Television. She produced films such as Siren’s Call, The Impeccables, Monsters' Dinner, Ziazan, Mother Virgin No More, which were shown at important festivals all over the world and were deemed worthy of awards. She won the Best Script Award at the Ankara Film Festival and the Bilge Olgaç Award at the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival with her screenplay for the film The Impeccables. The experimental documentary she directed and wrote was screened at Androktones Pera Museum and CICA Museum.

  • İnan Temelkuran

    İnan Temelkuran

    He was born in 1976 in Izmir. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law. He made a research on the Franco period in Spain with the scholarship he received from the Spanish government. In 2003, he graduated from TAI School of Visual Arts, Department of Cinematography. He won Best Documentary Award at Madrid Young Art Competition with his short documentary, On a Cold Night, in Madrid. Returning to Turkey in 2005, he completed the film Made in Europe, which he had started before, in 2007. Bornova Bornova, which he wrote, directed, and produced in 2009, became one of the two productions worthy of Best Film Award at the Antalya International Golden Orange Film Festival.
