Competition Without Barriers, which has been a part of the film program since the first year of the Festival, continues on its way as the National Feature Film Competition as of this year. In the competition, where the recent examples of Turkish cinema are included, the Jury will determine the winner of the Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay awards, while the audience will determine the winner of the Audience Award with their votes after the screenings.
Barış Sarhan's debut feature The Cemil Show; Silenced Tree directed by Faysal Soysal; Ghosts directed by Azra Deniz Okyay; Penny Bank directed by Ferit Karol and Long Time Ago directed by Cihan Sağlam are included in the competition program.
The jury of the competition includes director Banu Sıvacı, screenwriter and producer Emine Yıldırım and director İnan Temelkuran.
The films in the National Feature Film Competition program can be watched at Ankara Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center between 11-13 October. Don't forget to choose the winner of the Audience Award by voting after the screenings!
