The festival ends tonight

Accessible Film Festival 2021 comes to an end with the Closing Video that will be broadcast on the Festival's YouTube channel and online screening hall. In this video, you can learn about the productions that won the Best Film, Best Director, Best Script Awards and the Audience Award in the National Feature Film Competition which includes 5 films, and the Short Film Competition which includes 13 films from 8 different countries.

Director Banu Sıvacı, screenwriter and producer Emine Yıldırım and director İnan Temelkuran has created the jury of the National Feature Film Competition, which includes The Cemil Show directed by Barış Sarhan, Silenced Tree directed by Faysal Soysal, Ghosts directed by Azra Deniz Okyay, Penny Bank directed by Ferit Karol and Long Time Ago directed by Cihan Sağlam. While the jury determined the winner of the Best Film, Best Director and Best Script awards, the Festival audience determined the winner of the Audience Award with their votes.

13 films has been included in the Short Film Competition which are Anush directed by Deniz Telek, Climate Change directed by Yasemin Demirci, Knitting Club for Men Over 40 by Egor Gavrilin, Magnética directed by Marco Arruda, Malakout directed by Farnoosh Abedi, Mamma directed by Aslak Danbolt, Mustachio directed by Victoria Warmerdam, My Sister’s Mercy directed by Vladimir Koptsev, Susam directed by Sami Morhayim, The Gift directed by Radik Kudoyarov, The Great Istanbul Depression directed by Zeynep Dilan Süren, The Police After Me directed by Kayahan Kaya and Turning to Dust directed by Hüseyin Aydın Gürsoy. Researcher and editor Azza Chaabouni, festival director Insa Wiese and festival director Sidar Serdar Karakaş took part in the jury of the Short Film Competition. While the jury determined the winner of the Best Film, Best Director and Best Script awards, the Festival audience determined the winner of the Audience Award with their votes.

The Closing Video, prepared and presented by comedian Deniz Göktaş, can be watched on the YouTube channel and the online screening hall of the Festival, starting from 19:30 tonight.
