The jury members of the Short Film Competition have been announced!

The jury members who will evaluate the finalist films in the Short Film Competition, which will be held for the third time to contribute to the development of the short film genre and to increase production in this field, have been announced. Digital artist, writer and producer Michael Achtman, EYE Filmmuseum short and experimental film manager Edith van der Heijde, digital artist, curator and art consultant Çağlar Kimyoncu are the jury members of this year's Short Film Competition.
 
The jury members will decide on the winner of the Best Film award, which will be awarded with a cash prize of $1000, and the winners of the Best Director and Best Screenplay awards will receive a cash prize of $500 each, while the audience will decide on the winner of the Audience Special Award with their votes. Votes can also be cast with ballot papers printed in Braille. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony to be held at the Goethe-Institut Ankara on Thursday 26 October.
 
121 short films from 23 countries applied to the Short Film Competition. The 14 finalists were selected by the selection committee consisting of film writer Aslı Ildır, editor Baran Bozdağ and festival programme coordinator Kaan Denk
 
The 14 films in the Short Film Competition will be screened between 20-26 October at the Paribu Cineverse ANKAmall theatre in Ankara and online from all over Turkey at eff2023.muvi.com.
