Ali Karadoğan

Following his graduation from Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Journalism programme, Ali Karadoğan completed his master's degree at the same university's Graduate School of Social Sciences, Radio Television Cinema programme. He worked at Ankara University Faculty of Communication between 2002-2020. He is currently working as a professor and dean at Munzur University Faculty of Communication. With many books he has published, has put important works on the history of cinema especially in Turkey.

Evrim Kaya

She studied philosophy at Boğaziçi University and worked as an academic and film critic as well as a journalist and editor. She is currently working at the Institute for Media and Communication Studies at the University of Hamburg.

Somnur Vardar

After studying English Literature at Istanbul’s Bogazici University, her passion for films, and interest in writing led Somnur Vardar to the graduate Media Studies programme of New York’s New School for Social Research. Her documentary making career began at Turkey’s first news channel where wrote, produced, edited and directed projects on a wide range of issues, and left with lifelong friends and film partners. She lives and works in Istanbul as director and editor.
