Listening to the image and watching the sound in the Auditorium

In the Auditorium section, which includes stories focusing on the hidden effects of sound, 3 films from world cinema are preparing to meet with the audience this year.  Tickets for the screenings of 32 Sounds, Other Ways of Listening and Burial, which draw attention with their different approaches to sound, at Paribu Cineverse ANKAmall are available for 50 TL via biletinial.com.

32 Sounds:

Oscar nominated director Sam Green's film, which won Best Documentary at this year's Advanced Imaging Society Lumiere Awards and Outstanding Achievement in Documentary Sound Mixing at the Cinema Audio Society Awards, is described by critics as "a cinematic meditation" and focuses on the power of sound to bend time and profoundly shape our perception of the world.

Burial:

Director Emilija Škarnulytė's unique sound design depicts the transcendent effects of nuclear technology through the Ignalina Power Plant in Lithuania, the sibling of the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant.

Other Ways of Listening:

In this documentary, director Jérôme Florenville takes us behind the scenes of the 40-year history of "La Muse en Circuit", a collective dedicated to the development of non-mainstream music, founded by electroacoustic music pioneer Luc Ferrari, and its experiments in sound creation.
