AFF’26 Concludes Its Eskişehir Program

A group of children gathered around a long wooden table; a female instructor, standing at the head of the table and wearing a light grey patterned blouse, is explaining something with her arms outstretched. On the table are colourful boxes of modelling clay, pens and sheets of card, whilst in the background, on both sides, are festival posters bearing the words 15–17 May Yunus Emre Kültür Merkezi. The children can be seen listening attentively to the instructor.

The Accessible Film Festival 2026 concluded its Eskişehir program, held at the Yunus Emre Cultural Center between May 15 and 17. Throughout the three-day event, all screenings and side activities were offered free of charge and presented in accessible formats.

The program brought together audiences with films from the Kaleidoscope and Auditorium selections, as well as the International Short Film Competition.

In addition to the screenings, the festival hosted an Animation Workshop for hearing-impaired children, an Autism-Friendly Screening for audiences with sensory sensitivities, and Q&A sessions with participating directors.
