Solidarity for Inclusive Cinema: The BE IN! Network

The image depicts a panel discussion with six speakers seated behind a long table in front of a large screen displaying the Accessible Film Festival logo. In the foreground, an audience is seen from behind, with some members wearing headphones for simultaneous translation or audio description. On the left, a female panelist is actively speaking into a microphone using hand gestures, while the other participants listen attentively next to their nameplates and water bottles.

Viewing accessibility not as an extra but as a core cultural responsibility, the Accessible Film Festival has been joining forces since 2019 with Europe's leading festivals under the BE IN! Network of Accessible Film Festivals. Shaped by the shared vision of six founding festivals from Turkey, Spain, Germany, the UK, Poland, and Belgium, this network goes beyond practices like audio description, creative subtitling, and accessible venues to advocate for the fundamental right to cultural participation.

Aiming for a transformative shift in the film industry through knowledge exchange and collaborative projects, this international platform invites you to explore its collective mission.
