Barbara Albert

Born in Vienna in 1970, Barbara Albert studied directing and screenwriting at the Vienna Film Academy. After having introduced her short films at several festivals, her first feature film Nordrand was accepted in the competition of Venice Film Festival. She worked as a producer, scriptwriter and director in the films produced by coop99, the production company she has co-founded. Her films have received numerous awards.
