Claude Barras

He was born in Switzerland in 1973. He studied illustration and computer graphics at École Emile Cohl in Lyon. He worked as a freelance illustrator and directed several short films. His first full-length animated feature, My Life as a Courgette, was presented at the Director’s Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival. The film was selected as Switzerland’s official entry for the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
