Derya Durmaz

Studied Economy, Human Rights Law and Acting, director and actress Derya Durmaz’s first short film Ziazan received 11 awards from 43 festivals in 19 countries. Her second short film Mother Virgin No More was selected to Berlin Film Festival Generation 14plus Short Film Competition. She was among 20 emerging directors who were selected to Toronto Film Festival, Talent Lab 2015. She was also one of the directors who was selected to Berlinale Talents 2016 program.
