Genevieve Clay-Smith

An award winning writer and director. She began her filmmaking career at 19 after securing a job making a documentary for the notfor- profit organization, Down Syndrome N.S.W. Since then she has been at the helm of countless inclusive filmmaking projects, all of which explore issues surrounding diversity and inclusion. She is an advocate for equal opportunity in the film industry and has been teaching film studies to people with an intellectual disability for seven years.
