Hans Petter Moland

Born in 1955. He studied film and theater directing at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. He directed commercials and music videos in the USA. He returned to Norway in 1985 and founded Moland Film, which has since grown to be the largest production company for production of commercials in Scandinavia. In 1993, he made his debut as a feature film director, with The Last Lieutenant. The films he directed were screened at major festivals all over the world and won various awards.
