Lauro Cress

Award-winning director Lauro Cress, with his diverse background, shaped his career—starting with drumming and architecture—through studies in experimental media and directing in Berlin. Following a successful career in advertising, he stepped into cinema. His debut film, "Impatience of the Heart," won the Max Ophüls Prize for Best Film in 2025. This successful debut also earned acting awards for both lead actors.
