Magnus Fredriksson

Born in 1977, Magnus Fredriksson is an animator and filmmaker from Kiruna in the north of Sweden. After studying film at Högskolan på Gotland, he started a small animation studio, Bortbyting, together with his frequent collaborator, actor Anton Hennix Raukola and others. Magnus’ films are inspired by the nature and culture of the north, as well as his love for eastern European animation and anime.
