Mike Leigh

He won awards from Locarno and Chicago Film Festivals with his debut film Bleak Moments directed in 1971. Leigh directed several feature films winning several awards from film festivals. Among the most important awards he won are The Best Director from Cannes Film Festival in 1993 with the film Naked and Palme d'Or Award in 1996 with the film Secrets & Lies.
