Pawel Pawlikowski

Born in Warsaw, Poland. He directed several acclaimed documentaries for the BBC, including Dostoevsky’s Travels and Tripping With Zhirinovsky. He wrote and directed the features Last Resort, My Summer of Love and The Women in The Fifth, all of which screened at various festivals. His masterpiece Ida became the first Polish film which won the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
