Reis Çelik

Born in Ardahan in 1961. He studied music and theatre at Municipality of Istanbul Conservatoire. In 1982 he began a career in journalism. He worked as an economics and political correspondent. He made several TV programmes. He made the first documentary film about Nazım Hikmet in Turkey: Nazım Hikmet You Have a Visitor. He directed his first feature film Let There Be Light in 1996.
