Sally Potter

She was born in 1949 and studied at London School of Contemporary Dance. Potter was a founder of dance group Strider and Limited Dance Company and simultaneously began Super8 filmmaking. Performance and dance have been central to her short films such as Thriller (1979), and feature films such as Orlando (1992).
