Samir Syriani

Born in 1989, Lebanese filmmaker Samir Syriani is recognized for his striking visuals and insightful storytelling. His award-winning student film "To Baalbek" screened at over 15 international festivals. In 2019, his Master’s short film "Contact" premiered at the 49th Tampere Film Festival and received multiple awards. In 2024, he completed "What If They Bomb Here Tonight?", which premiered at the 47th Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. In addition to his filmmaking career, which includes award-winning music videos and global TV campaigns, he is a university professor, mentor, and father of two.
