Serkan Fakılı

He was born in Ankara in 1987. During his bachelor's degree, he staged plays for children under the name "Balikesir Art Theater". Between 2010-2014, he worked as an actor in Ankara State Theater. His main aim is writing scripts and directing films as a professional in the field of cinema. He was the winner of "YAPIMLAB @!F: A Creative Production Workshop and Pitching Platform" which is organized by !F Istanbul and YAPIMLAB with his short film project titled "Kaset (The Tape)" in 2016. He is one of screenwriters of feature-length film project "Kumbara" which won 2017 International Ankara Film Festival Project Development Award.
