Theodore Ushev

He was born in Bulgaria and earned a master’s degree at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. He taught there for several years before moving to Canada. He works in multimedia, illustration, animation. His animation films have been selected by many festivals. Since 2003, he has worked in the Animation and Youth Studio at the National Film Board of Canada. He is in charge of the new IMAX Stereoscopic Animation department of NFB.
