At a strict and repressive boarding school miles from anywhere, young Yusuf (12) is anxious to get his mysteriously sick friend to hospital. At first, he is thwarted by school bureaucracy and then, once this is overcome, by heavy snowfall. As they wait for the roads to be cleared, teachers and students jostle to exonerate themselves from the circumstances surrounding the boy’s mystery condition, revealing ruthless vendettas and hidden secrets in the process.
