Accepted as one of the cinema classics, Italian filmmaker Giuseppe Tornatore’s film Cinema Paradiso tells the story of a well-known director’s fascination with films.
During his childhood, Salvatore begs Alfredo, the projectionist of the theater in the village they live to work with him at the theatre. Eventually Alfredo accepts the young boy as his apprentice. Several years pass by, Salvatore becomes a film director and one day learns the death of his old friend Alfredo.
