The Stars and Water Carriers

The Stars and Water Carriers, filmed in 1973 during the classic Giro d'Italia, which Jørgen Leth and his crew followed for 22 days, brings one of the greatest events in cycling to the cinema screen. In this documentary, Leth follows the professional cyclists as they compete against each other in the critical moments of the race, portraying them like the heroes of a novel.
