Imagine a city where people no longer have a taste for anything, to the point that the town’s most successful business specializes in poisons, ropes, and all the accoutrements of the perfect suicide. For generations, this grim family business has prospered in all its bleak misery, until a new family member appears. This cute baby called Alan soon becomes a threat for the suicide shop as he makes everyone around him happy.
