Belmin Söylemez
Born in Istanbul. She started her career in cinema as an assistant director to Bilge Olgaç. Afterwards, she worked as a copywriter in the advertising industry, production coordinator, editor and director in organisations such as ARD German TV Turkey office and BBA Independent Press Agency. With his first feature-length fiction film "Present Tense", she won the Yılmaz Güney Award at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival, SIYAD Award and the New Director Award at the 56th San Francisco International Film Festival.
