The paths of Zula and Wiktor, who have different backgrounds and characters, coincides in post-war Poland. Set in the cold war atmosphere of Poland, Berlin, Yugoslavia and Paris of 1950s, the film is the impossible love story of a couple dispersed with the irony of fate, political views and personality characteristics.
