Love, innocence, jazz and revolution in London in the ‘60s… Two teenage girls, Ginger and the fiery Rosa, are inseparable. They skip school together, talk about love, religion, politics, and hairstyles, and dream of lives bigger than their mothers´ frustrated domesticity. But, as the Cold War meets the threat of nuclear holocaust, the lifelong friendship of the two girls is shattered by the clash of desire and the determination to survive.
