In a religious dormitory where boys between the ages of 10-15 live under the fear of God, the headmaster applies an unconventional method to find the missing shoes which ultimately scares the new boy, Ahmet, to death while teaching a life lesson to Hakan who is the most experienced of all.

Guernica

Guernica is a Spanish town where farmers live. During the Spanish Civil War, the dictator Franco, allowed the Nazi forces to test their new war planes in Guernica town, so he thought he would take the lead in the region and made a gesture to the Germans. The bombings were in the scale that has not been witnessed until that time in Guernica and after the bombardment, there was a huge massacre in the town. Picasso, who was in France in the same time, did not stay silent and painted Guernica which is the World's most important anti-war painting. This picture represents the destruction of the war and what it leaves behind, and it also represent all of us, our lives. When a person is in peaceful greenery one moment, she can find herself in a black and white war as Guernica in the next one.

Truck

Besim, who set out on a long interprovincial journey with the truck escrowed to him, is stuck in the middle of a deserted road in the heart of Anatolia because of an engine breakdown. His efforts to find a mechanic for the truck, fearing that it will catch on fire, becomes more and more complicated with the arrival of kids, a flock of stray sheep, a peasant with a scooter, other peasants with cars, and even more peasants with a tractor, women and the gendarme one after the other.

Kenan (9) is a boy with a great imagination, living in a village in Anatolia. He lives with his father far from the village mosque, where the sounds of Azan do not reach. One day, he finds a Walkman in the woodshed. Wondering about the song in the tape, he starts to look for batteries to play the Walkman.

“Soil” narrates the journey of a young man carrying a handful of soil into the grave of a deceased soldier who happens to be burying his own dead body. With the form integrated into narrative, it is possible to watch every phase of his journey synchronically. Wherever he goes the smell of the soil remains the same.
