A selection of 17 films from the 2024 Accessible Film Festival will meet cinema lovers in Eskişehir for free on October 12-13, hosted by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. The event, which will take place at Paribu Cineverse Espark, includes films awarded in the National Feature Film Competition and Short Film Competition, as well as films that will be screened in Eskişehir for the first time.
The films in the program include Dormitory, directed by Nehir Tuna, which won both the Best Film and Audience Awards at the AFF 2024 National Feature Film Competition; Black Box, directed by Aslı Özge, who won the Best Director Award; and On the Shore, directed by Büşra Bilginer, who received the Promising Director Award.
In the Short Film Competition selection, Every Day It Gets a Little Easier, directed by Çağıl Bocut, winner of the Best Film Award; After the Ringing of the Bell, directed by Shahrzad Ebrahimi, winner of the Best Director Award; Spider-Zan, directed by Maryam Khodabakhsh, which won the Best Screenplay Award; Ana Morphose, directed by João Rodrigues, winner of the Jury Special Award; and Thirty Seconds, directed by İvan Sosnin, which received the Audience Award, will be featured.
All films will have English subtitles.
