Winners of the National Feature Film Competition and Short Film Competition of the Accessible Film Festival 2024 were presented at the Awards Ceremony, presented by Ege Kayacan, on Thursday, June 13th at the Goethe-Institut.
The Audience Award in the Short Film Competition went to Thirty Seconds directed by Ivan Sosnin, while the Special Jury Award went to Ana Morphose directed by João Rodrigues. The Best Screenplay Award went to Maryam Khodabakhsh for Spider-Zan, the Best Director Award went to Shahrzad Ebrahimi for After the Ringing of the Bell, and the Best Film Award went to Every Day It Gets a Little Easier, directed by Çağıl Bocut.
In the National Feature Film Competition, Yurt directed by Nehir Tuna won the Audience and Jury awards. Büşra Bilginer, director of the film On the Shore, received the Promising Director Award, whose category was determined by the jury for the first time this year. Aslı Özge won the Best Director Award for her film Black Box.
